It gets the job done, but there are several design issues. 1. The wardrobe section is too shallow to hold adult clothes. Best for babies or kids 2. The mattress slips off the back and jams the door, preventing the bed from coming down. I had to add brackets at the head of the mattress and ratchet strap it to the frame to prevent it from slipping 3. The bolts are unsightly and the package did not come with stickers to cover them. I had to buy my own office stickers 4. The wiring for the lighting looks cheap 5. The adhesive for the label stickers is extremely strong, making them difficult to remove once assembled. 6. A bottom aesthetic brace interferes with bed operation. I had to rotate it slightly down so it wouldn't. I was able to make this into something that's nice, but it took a lot more effort and expense than should've been needed.

We assembled between 2 people. Once assembled is robust, you can even step on the top of the support woods. The mechanisms seem robust as well and allow for a very smooth opening a closing. It came with all the pieces and mechanisms, plus some extra. Instructions are easy to follow and come with a video step by step. I would recommend it
