The design and adjustment capability are good, but the seat is extremely hard and smooth. It's so hard that it's almost like a solid seat of plastic with NO cushion whatsoever. The side effect is that the saddle is also very smooth. Smooth to the point that depending on the clothes you're wearing, you can actually slide off, especially if you have the seat inclined forward. You can see the glossiness of the chair in the attached photo.

So far, I love it! I have a lot of trouble with my feet so I can't stand for long periods. Since I do a lot of cooking & baking, I use this stool whenever I can. I have to be careful getting on the stool. I'm short, so even at the seats lowest level, it can be a little tricky because of the rollers. The stool moves very easily which is great for wheeling from one side of the room to the other, but there is a tendency for rolling away from you when you're trying to 'mount'. You just have to be careful. I'd buy it again. My daughter is thinking of buying one also.
