I took a great deal of time searching for the right size sofa since I am of short stature. I chose this sofa because the seat depth was 18.9". This sofa required a lot of assembly. Was not expecting that. I had to assemble the entire frame. The center support post arrived without threads so I couldn't complete the assembly. Wayfair had to send me a replacement and I will compliment them on the fact that the part was sent with replacement screws installed so someone took the time to make sure this part had threads. The cushions came vacuum packed. I opened them and have let them air for 4 days and they still have not plumped up enough to create a seat depth of 18.9". You can see in my pic that with the anemic back cushion the seat is now 20". these back cushions only expanded to 4" at the most and need to be double that. The photo on the site clearly shows them as being plumper. I've added a throw pillow that is 8" deep to show the difference in the actual back cushion and what it should be. The seat cushions are firm and it is low to the floor but if they cannot give me back cushions that then support a short seat depth, I would not recommend this product. Update: I took the foam forms out of the cases for the back pillows and was able to plump them up enough to work, not as full as pictured, but better than before. I have updated the score by one star. I have decided to keep the sofa because it will have light use. I wouldn't recommend for heavy use as I don't believe it will stand up well.
