Let me just start by saying, I really didn't know what to expect, considering the only thing I've had similar to this would be a futon. I was surprised to see such a huge box when it was delivered. Like I said I was thinking of a futon type sofa since it's in a box, but this was a large heavy box. We brought it in, opened it up and had it put together in less than 20 minutes. It requires no tools, but I'd definitely recommend having two people to assemble it. The quality is excellent, it's sturdy, and the fabric feels nice. The cushions were a little stiff the first few days, but have relaxed some now. I love the sleek, modern look it has, that it is still comfortable. Now that I know the quality of the Zinus Hayes sofa, I will be recommending it to everyone. The best part is the fact that you order it online, they ship it and you don't have to deal with furniture salesman or having delivery people in your home.

Although everything was boxed and wrapped, I received 2 right arms. Took about 10 mins to put together after unboxing .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thrilled to receive this Hayes Sofa from Zinus free in exchange for my honest review. My 19 year old son ( who still lives at home ) needed seating in his bedroom. This sofa was absolutely perfect for that! And also it will follow him to his first apartment when he gets to that stage. It can seat three people. It is on the smaller side, so will work great for those with limited space. Even so, it is large enough for my grown son to sit comfortably. I absolutely love the fabric and design of this sofa. That is my favorite thing about it. It looks nice. Not only that, it appears to be pretty sturdy. I like that the back cushions aren’t overinflated and the depth is decent. It sits well. All in all for someone on a budget that wants a new sofa this is a solid choice. I have to say my son absolutely loves it and is thrilled he gets to have it in his room.

It was nice that there is basically 4 pieces to assemble, 2 people are needed to do it. It is a firm couch so far. Would work best in a small space or possibly college dorm. Fabric seems strong and durable and easy to clean.
