I love the way these stools look. Three of them were perfect. The fourth had rattan issues down one side and along the top. The joint had split, and the banding popped out, so the rattan, which was supposed to be taut, had slipped out of place, and was sticking out everywhere.

I love theses. The smell is just the wood stain when you open the box. It doesnt smell once put together and aired out.

Order #2830994600 Item: Alder Mid-Century Modern Rubberwood Base Colour: Dark Walnut Number of Stools: 2 We recently received a pair of chairs from my order, and while the chair design is beautiful and exactly what we were looking for, unfortunately both chairs arrived broken. We are not sure whether the damage occurred during delivery or if the chairs were damaged before they were shipped. Because both chairs are unusable, we would like to return them. We are still interested in the same chair design and would like to order another pair as a replacement. Considering the inconvenience of receiving damaged items and the time involved in arranging the return and replacement, we would greatly appreciate it if you could offer a goodwill discount or a better price on the replacement order. We have been looking forward to using these chairs and hope this issue can be resolved quickly. Please let us know the next steps for the return and replacement process.
