Amittai Upholstered 77.9'' Sofa

Cheaply constructed. When I attempted to send it back after just a few weeks, I was told it was too late.

Super easy to put together, but it is not very comfortable. It is big cat approved though!

The sofa is super firm. I do prefer seating to be on the firm side as opposed to something so plush it swallows you up... but this is REALLY firm. Feels like sitting on a dome and there's a sensation of tilting or sliding forward because the cushions have zero give. It was easy to assemble by myself. Finally, the middle support leg is strangely short -- like it hovers 2 inches off the ground. I suppose its purpose is to keep the sofa from collapsing if someone extremely heavy sits on it? It seems odd.

The sofa itself looked nice but it had a defective middle leg that didn’t reach the ground to support the sofa in the middle which caused the sofa to lean forward making everything placed on the sofa ( tv remote, phone, etc) to keep sliding forward and fall to the ground and it always felt the same when you were sitting on it. I called Wayfair customer service and they sent me a replacement sofa which I was hoping would remedy the problem but it turned out the replacement also had the same problem with the short middle leg and leaning forward issue. I had to return the replacement and was really disappointed not only in the quality of the sofa but having to waste my time dragging the sofa inside and assembling it twice only to take it apart twice, try to shove it all back in the box and ship it back. I would not recommend this sofa to anyone. Save yourself a headache, wasted time and get something else.

It’s lovely! But mine arrived with two misplaced/mis-drilled holes for one of the bolts that holds the attachment hardware that connects the back of the sofa to the seat. Because of the placement of the holes - I’d have to tear up the frame and/or the upholstery to re-drill it or add a locking nut, AND I’d have to widen the hole in the metal attachment plate, it’s an unfixable problem. I’ve contacted Wayfair support, and I’ve been directed to wait for the manufacturer to contact me directly for resolution, supposedly today. (I called Wayfair on a Saturday, manufacturer to contact me today, on Monday.). We’ll see - I’d really like to have a couch to sit on! Side note - Wayfair support has been very responsive to a couple of issues that I’ve had while outfitting most of my new house with Wayfair products. This is one reason why I’ve been continuing to give them my business. This is the first time I’ve had to deal with a supplier directly, so we’ll see how that goes. And - the couch is really cute, and were it not for my hardware-attachment problem, it would’ve taken less than 15 minutes to unbox and put together. I’d give it 5 stars, except for this ^^ snafu.
