Tête de lit en bois massif Coston

This arrived a day late and in a box that was beat up and looked like it had been opened before. Our Fed Ex delivery man said that it was essentially open when he got it that morning. He taped it up the best he could before leaving for his deliveries. However, there were no broken or missing pieces. We bought this headboard for a guest room bed. Assembly instructions were lacking--nothing about attaching to a plain metal bed frame. But there was enough hardware for that config; and we figured it out. It is a little flimsy. I'm worried that guests may lean back against it, and the legs could break. Construction for the legs and trim pieces looks to be solid wood (although pieced together on the legs), and wood veneer over MDF on the panel piece. We may try to attach some blocks behind so that it is against the wall. The finish was pretty good; my only complaint was the stain was a little uneven near the diagonal cross bars. But overall, it looks good. We needed 2, but only bought one to make sure it was worth keeping. Now, a week later, we're ready to buy the other and the price has gone up. :( It was already borderline-worth-the-price before!
