Upon receipt of the shipment, the box was damaged through to the product. I was discussing a credit with wayfair, as I was unboxing and assembling the item. After the item was assembled, it was a complete piece of junk and hazard in my home - total disaster at no fault of my own. It was cheap, compressed board, paint splatters, and damage on the furniture from the manufacturing process (just not shipping). It was wobbly, unstable, and didn't shut properly. Upon contacting wayfair, I was reassured someone would be contacting me regarding this to arrange pickup of the item. We had to disassemble it and repackage it - all a complete waste of time. Then, when I was contacted, I found out I was misinformed and required to PAY RETURN SHIPPING ($84.xx). I had no choice, as they took it right out of my refund money. No exceptions were made at all, especially given I was sold a piece of junk that could fall open and crush one of my kids because of it's poor quality material and lack of stability. Instead, the gal spent time explaining to me wayfair's policy changes and why they were necessary. Also, she explained to me that, by putting the furniture together, I voided certain coverages and warranties that wayfair provides, but I got lucky in the I was still within the return window. What a joke. The whole point was missed - as a consumer, I believed I was purchasing a safe murphy bed, that could support a mattress and shut properly (was as pictured on the site), only to find it was a hazardous piece of junk, covered in manufacturing damage and flaws, and they kept $84.xx of my money, so, in the end, I was penalized. The pictures speak for themselves. I will never purchase from wayfair again, and recommend anyone reading this makes the same decision.

This bed was a nightmare to put together. The holes for the screws to the wheel assembly weren’t fully drilled so we had to cut the screws to fit. We spent hours putting this together to get to final steps with the gas cylinders that lift the bed and they were defective! I’m still attempting to get a replacement for those as this bed won’t function as designed without them! In addition, the description of bed said it had USB ports and it doesn’t and it also stated having side tables and it doesn’t. I’m so committed now that I’ll overlook the lack of features if I can get the cylinders replaced! Until it’s fully assembled - I can’t comment on its durability. I’m VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Extremely difficult to assemble, at one point the directions call for four people to assemble. After final assembly the bed wants to pull away from the wall. We ended up needing to screw it into the wall in several places to feel secure.

wow.. what a mess to assemble. It's in so many pieces... we are still working through it. Updated --well after 12 hours of assembly it's finally together and we have one extra piece we have no idea where it goes. I also don't care that there were no covers to camouflage the silver hardware that's now visible when the bed is in the up right position. The bed is working though and attached securely to the wall (4 studs).
