It's fine. It looks ok. It seems sturdy. We are fitting it with 2 6" memory foam mattresses on top of onw another and then spreading them out when the bed is pulled out in its king bed form.

So much more than I expected! I purchased for a beach rental condo and love, love it! It was a little tricky to assemble, but once I got it, went together beautifully. Quality seems great, wood is gorgeous, and the versatility makes it perfect for my needs. Trundle is super easy to pull out and put back. I highly recommend this bed!

I purchased the daybed mainly for my craft room, but it works for overnight guest visits too since it converts to a king size bed. I love it because it is very sturdy.
