I love my new chair!! It came in pieces, but was super easy to put together. Took me maybe 3 minutes. :) The padding is really firm, which I wanted. The chenille fabric is really nice looking, and the stitching looks to be perfect. It should hold up well to my two cats, and the fabric will mask any hair or pulls. The springs in the back and footrest are really strong. Anyone without decent leg strength might want to opt for a power chair. I'm 64 & in good health and have no problem. I didn't know it was a glider, so that was a nice surprise. The only negative is the amount of space it needs when it reclines. I chose not to spend more to get a wall hugger, and I regret it. I live in a 24' yurt, and space is tight.... lastly, just a note for any short folks like myself. I'm 5'5". My feet don't touch the floor, and my knees are inches too short to reach when I'm all the way back in the chair. I wanted extra room and chose this large seat, but it's something to keep in mind if you want a better fit. I got a great chair for a good price, and I definitely recommend it! *** Found one thing I don't like. There's a 2" gap between the back and the seat when the chair is fully reclined. It's not uncomfortable, but you can definitely feel it. The mfg. needs to move the mounting posts forward into the seat pad if necessary to close that up. Shortening the mounting posts by 1/2" would help too, since the "wings" on the back don't meet the armrests either. The gap is annoying enough that I'm dropping the star count to 4, based on design- not quality.*** Later - I'm dropping the stars down again to three. That gap is really annoying! With the footrest up and the chair partially reclined or fully reclined, you have to move back slightly to keep your back flat against the chair back. When you do that and settle back, a good inch or more of your rear end drops off the back side of the seat - more when fully reclined. I just don't understand the thinking here - they could have moved the mounting posts for the back forward a little, and extended the seat back 4"-5", and this would be a perfect chair.... I now keep a 1/2 round lumbar pad next to the chair to fill in the gap when I fully recline. I no longer recommend this chair. It's a real shame, because I like almost everything about it. Months later - I've come to hate this chair because it feels like I'm falling through the gap every time I even slightly recline.... I'll never buy a piece of furniture again without sitting in it or seeing it in person again!

This recliner is well made, fabric very nice, color true to the picture. The only thing that I dislike is the natural recline of the back. I would have preferred more of an upright back or a pillow top for head support.

Very nice looking and comfortable. The color is lighter than pictured but still works really well in our front room sitting area.
