This is a beautiful, sturdy bed. The wood is solid and while I was putting it together, I felt like this was a piece of furniture that was going to last me a long time, as long as I assembled it well. This package came in three large, heavy pieces that were challenging to move around. I highly recommend assisted delivery if that's an option for you. Assembly instructions were clearer than most and the majority of the connection points and holes were well machined. My only issue is the finish/color. It appears slightly different in the photographs. When mine arrived, it was much darker than I expected.

Solid bed, but very heavy; if moving into an upstairs room, choose the delivery option where they put it in the room where you want it. Assembly was pretty straightforward.

Bed is very well made, came very well packaged -- not a ding or a scratch on any part. Took about 2 hours to assemble, probably 20 to 30 minutes to unpack and sort everything and peruse the assembly instructions. Instructions were adequate unless this is your first time trying to assemble furniture. One of the provided hex wrenches didn't quite fit the hex head screws, fortunately it was a standard size (not metric) and I had another one available. To assemble the brace pieces on the headboard, should probably use a clamp to hold the piece tight to the headboard as there are no pilot holes drilled. Overall, it is a pretty nice piece of furniture and should do an excellent job in our spare bedroom.
