Causeuse Gottberg

Good couch for the price. It's firm but comfortable. I bought this years ago. Rarely used it but it held up for the most part. But the stitching on a seam on one of the back pillows starting coming undone within a year.

The color tends to be more brown than grey. Comes with the pillows in the picture.

I ordered the Gottberg several months ago, so I have had a chance to try it out for a bit before writing this review. To start off, delivery was quick and the guys were awesome about arranging a delivery time beforehand. It was super easy to assemble, just screw on the rubberwood (plastic) legs. The loveseat itself is on the smaller side, which is what I was looking for, yet still plenty wide for 2 people to sit side by side. One thing I especially like about it is that it is very lightweight, so it is easy for me to move around. It's lightness does cause it to slide around on the hardwood floors some (not a biggie for me since it is up against a wall). The cushions seemed pretty hard when we first got it, but either it has softened up or I have gotten used to it; it's actually a pretty comfy little seat for sitting or even lying on (with my legs kicked up on the side arm). Speaking of the side arm, there is a part in one of the side arms that has loosened up (or broken) and creeks a little bit when you slightly push against it... I'm not sure what it is (bummer), but anyway, the chair is still fully functional. Like the other reviewers said, the color is a mix of tan and black specks (it kind of reminds me of pepper). I'd say altogether it's a little more on the brownish side of taupe than they grayish side. The seat cushions are attached with velcro underneath, which keeps them in place nicely, and the back cushions are completely removable and reversible. I do like the fact that it is upholstered in linen and not a polyfiber (though that also means it is not a smooth and soft as a poly fiber). All in all it's been a good loveseat for me so far - not sure I would have picked it in person - but I'm happy enough with it.

Love the look and delivery was quick. I like that the couches are not slouchy, very modern. Lots of compliments. Also came with the pillows!!!
