These stools are great. I was worried they would be too short, but they are the perfect height for sitting at my kitchen island. I've had them almost a year now, and they are holding up well with daily use.

The stools look very nice, and the wood is good quality, however the quality control on the cuts on the prices themselves is not very good. We ordered 4 total stools and none of them went together the same. To add to it, one of them broke the next day.

This item does not have the proper tools to complete assembly. The wood screws do not fit. Causing more damage to chair.

Other reviews are spot on these do not install cleanly, even with power tools. If you don’t plan on using them every day, it will do the job of looking nice and being used infrequently without risk of them falling apart. If you need something sturdy and reliable, I wouldn’t recommend these. They are also not the exact same height, if you look closely. They worked well for my needs, which was more for looks vs function
