UPDATE----- ABSOLUTE DISASTER. Everything about this order has been a very negative experience. Since the boxes were mangled in shipment and we could see the product inside was damaged through and open gapping holes in the boxes we told Wayfair we wanted to return the items. When we received the product it (they) came in 6 large boxes of 80 to 100 pounds each. They were dropped off in our driveway. NOW, for the return Wayfair is telling us to take the boxes to a FedEx office. My back is not doing well and I’m expecting surgery on my right bicep soon. This is why I paid to have the items assembled. Assembly was also a disaster. This company needs to have its upper management take a look at what the company is doing. I will write the CEO (Niraj Shah) and ask him to take a look at this situation. If he feels this is the way to do business I will file a lawsuit especially if I injure my back trying to get these six very heavy and awkward boxes to a FedEx office. ORIGINAL POST- Shows up in (6) boxes, three of which were severely damaged. Through the tears in the boxes we can see the actual product is damaged as well. Four boxes showed up one day, a fifth box the next and the final box a week later. I pre-paid for assembly through Angie. This was also a disaster. The guy showed up for the assembly and had no idea what the job was. It's a two person job. He started on it but called his supervisor who told him to stop work on the job and they would re-schedule when they had another person. One of the 6 boxes was almost assembled and left on my living room floor with screws and such laying around. After hours on the phone I gave up told them to come get it. They are refunding my money but they say I need to get the assembly refund from Angi. I reminded them I did not pay Angi, I paid Wayfair. I'm on the phone now. Still getting a run-around. There is no way I will be able to bring myself to be put through this again. It's too bad because Wayfair has some good prices and deals but in the end it's a waste of time and money. Wayfair was wonderful helping me with this wardrobe, Wayfair customer service gets 5 stars but the manufacturer gets 2-3 stars. It is flimsier than it appears in the pictures and it did not come with the proper hardware to assemble, it was a nightmare getting the right parts but after four months of back and forth it is assembled. Only buy if you are a very patient person.
