This would have been a great purchase, however, 2 bolts did not fit. The shelf is not stable.

This table looks beautiful . It arrived very nicely packaged and without a scratch on it. I was able to assemble it myself, and it feels super solid. Great job Wayfair.

Absolutely what I was looking for (Relyea Round Dining Table-under Description/ Specs, it says it's Counter Height & dark gray SKU:W004280523. It is a dark gray stained Rubber wood (It comes from a special tree in Africa, so it is definitely a hard wood) round counter height table w/2 shelves. The shelves can be used to place your table cloth, cloth napkins, napkin rings, vase of flowers, placemats, table runner and/or any other stuff you may want to store under your table until you're done eating. You can put things there that you need for dinner, or after dinner, like a cake or some other food items, but if they're hot, I would definately recommend using hot pads under any hot items. If you have anything wet like food or drinks that have condensation on them or will eventually produce condensation, you definately need to use coasters (not glass or any material that produces condensation) and/or some type of silicone mat, because it is wood so it will warp and cause those ugly white glass rings that won't come off. Also do not set any type of fragrant oil, like plug ins, diffusers or anything like that on this table, the oil will eat through/melt the finish and ruin your table. I used to have a square table in brown stained rubberwood just like this one and I sat my plug-in on the table for a minute while I changed it out and put an oil refill in it, and the new one fell over and the oil dripped out a quarter size puddle, I grabbed a Bounty towel to wipe it up and I noticed it smeared, the texture was gewy and I immediately was upset because the oil burnt through the finish on the table, it was like paint thinner got dripped on my table SMH. so back to storage! Now, I personally have my Ninja Foodi Smart XL 6-in-1 Indoor Grill with Airfry, Roast, Bake, Broil, Grill, Dehydrate, Smart Thermometer (for internal meat temperature) sitting on my tables top shelf because my kitchen is so small and I don't have alot of counter space or cabinets. It used to sit on my old table, and it was an eye sore ugh! but not no more..Ok! so this table Is more like bar height. I'm disabled so it's easier for me to sit at a Counter-Height dining set (that's all I've ever had for 20+ yrs. because the standard height I have to strain to get up and with severe osteo & rheumatoid arthritis that has destroyed my knees, hips, hands & spine, makes it extremely painful to stand up from a standard height dining set, and because I'm only 5' 4" and riddled with Arthritis, trying to climb up on a bar height dining chair is worse than the standard height, cause once I get on a bar stool, my legs aren't long enough to reach the floor/ground, so then I can't scoot my seat up to the table, it's A LOT! This set is in between counter & bar height so it's a bit of a strain, but I love it so much I'm going to keep it & deal with it. This review is just for the table, but I purchased 2 sets of 2 (total of 4) of the Relyea Counter Height Side Chair Set in Gray, the matching chairs to this table. They are marked just Gray but technically they are dark gray and they are a perfect match. Here's the Counter Height Chair Set number: SKU: W004280417 I was going to build a similar table to this one by scratch (wood, glue, screws, wood stain etc.) and it was gonna be a task, so when I seen this table and it had shelves, it was a "No Brainer" This 5 piece Counter-Height Dining Set that I pieced together to make a set does in fact come altogether as a set (I just saved a lil $ by buying everything individually because 1 set of the chairs was discounted cause they were new, but someone returned them. So I took s gamble to save $60 and after opening the box, I could tell they were slightly damaged, more like imperfect, cause the stain/sealant has chips on the inside of both of the backs of the chairs on the chainlink design, but you can't see it unless you're looking for it, and one of my chairs on the light gray linen seat cushion, has a spot on it that I gotta see if I can get it out SMH. The 1st day We finally got to use our new table and chairs was when we had our annual friends/family 4th of July cookout. After my son got done grilling all the meat, someone picked up a burger or brat to put on their plate and dripped grease/seasoning on & down the side of one of my linen seat cushions. Needless to say, I immediately was upset because it's new and I don't understand why my guests wouldn't be more careful to not do that, especially when everyone knew I just got it. I understand accidents happen, but noone would fess up, so after seeing how upset I was and how bad I was dreading on cleaning it because I was physically hurting so bad, my Bff Mary said "don't worry!" I can get all of it out! She used a lil water diluted Dawn dishwashing detergent & a bounty towel and got all of it out for me. What a wonderful friend she is.. Weight limit per chair, which is 50 lbs. more than The GIA, Athenian, Jackin and a bunch of other brands that look identical to this set. The table is exactly the same, but the chairs are 3/4 inch taller and they are smaller in width & depth: 40.75'' H X 18'' W X 19.5'' D Chair Weight Limit is only 250 lbs. Whereas the set I purchased Relyea and there's another one out there called "TAYLOR" that the same size & weight limit as Relyea. I hope all this helps, I hope if you make the choice I did, that you will love it as much as I do. Oh, one more thing, there are complaints about the seat cushions being sooo hard & people have return them due to that.. I thought the same thing at first, but just give them a week or so of sitting In them, they get softer and way more comfortable..

Love my new table, however it does come with some scratches on the surface. It’s almost as if the wood comes with some imperfections.
