Looks very good with clean lines as we desired. Comfortably sits 8 people as advertised, simple to assemble, and very well constructed.

While looking for a table that both underscores the beauty of the wood grain and is also very resistant to spills and chemicals, I had decided to get a table that was finished with catalysed varnish. This protects the the wood without having to reaply oils/wax periodicaly. Most of the catalysed varnish tables on this site are mid-century and did not fit my taste. This table, however, has a more contemporary style and was just right for my dining room. I got mine in walnut which is dark enough for my decor but not too dark as to hide the wonderful grain of the solid maple.

These tables are remarkable! Easy to care for and look stunning!
