This bed lasted exactly 4 months. It was easy to put together and looked great, but structurally it was a hot mess. The bolts came loose at the slightest movement, it felt rickety and I could break the boards with my hands. Waste of money

Not the best quality the drawers are very sturdy. Very easy to put together though with lots of storage on top.

We've purchased many items from Wayfair over the years and know the risk with DIY furniture. We're also handy with tools, so this review is from someone with experience in assembling parts. Adding review comments for "Thayna full size platform bed with storage headboard (white)" in three parts: 1. Product quality: It's about moderate quality for the price. Obviously it's manufactured wood for the most part, but not of bad quality. Different pieces came properly labeled, or easy to deduce when labels were missing. No missing hardware in our delivery. 2. Assembly required: Most of the pieces go together reasonably well. However the headboard bookshelf arrangement is just designed badly. Three major design flaws - requiring four metal brackets for a 6-inch wide shelf, no pre-drilled holes to mount them, and having only 5-inches space between shelves making it impossible to use any reasonable hand tools. All that work for two tiny shelves that can barely hold a few paperbacks. It could have been a pre-built single piece and saved a ton of time and prevented scratched surfaces. 3. Broken piece of a large part: The trundle faceout came as one large piece and it was broken in transit. Wayfair made it right (they always do!) by reordering the broken part and a few other scratched/dinged items, but the delay in getting it done is frustrating. Packaging needs to be improved hugely if the manufacturer wants to ship a 6ft x 2ft sized piece.
