I came back to rewrite this review after installing the headboard. While the color is a nice, neutral beige, the substance of the headboard is lacking. It's not very deep and wobbles even though it's securely attached to the bedframe. All in all, it just looks like an inexpesive headboard, which, I guess it is. As long as you go in with the right expectations and don't do what I did, you will be fine.

Good value for this headboard! The color is a creamy oatmeal with flecks of light browntan. Would really fit into a lot of different decor. The assembly was super easy to attach to my big box store metal king bed frame and I think the height works well so pillows don’t fall down.
