What an ordeal! Very pretty and easy to pull out trundle UNLESS the mattress is too thick! I understood that I could use a 6” and it was way too tight and started to pull apart the panel. So, I ordered a 5” and it just fits under with some pushing, but was so much smaller than other mattress that it was very uneven and left big gaps and very unsafe. So, I had to order another additional foam mattress pad for on top, but still gaps and wondering where I’ll store the additional mattress pad. There should be better recommendations what to purchase that will work, or sell the right mattresses with it.

I wanted to love this bed, however, after I put the mattress on, my husband (who is not a large man) simply SAT on it and it broke.

This bed is nice- the trundle is a little wonky and not as graceful as I would like but it’s a good option for a guest bed that isn’t used daily. It would be fine also for daily use for a child.

Size, color, upholstery are ok, as expected. But there's something on the design of this piece that makes it feel incomplete. I bought a 10" inches mattress for the top, fit well. I bought a 5" inches mattress for the trundle bed as the specs required, but the trundle does not include a stopper or anything that prevents the mattress to slide when you open it or put it back to its position. It is heavy to move too and having to deal with the handler, which is just as it seen in the picture, plus the weight of mattress when ins sliding it is uncomfortable and disappointing. I paid for the assembly service when ordering. A very professional man, I saw him doing his craft professionally and with knowledge on the matter. But now I don't know, if there is a piece missing or simple a design failure.

So far we love the day bed. It’s the perfect shade of light pink and was fairly easy to put together.
