If I could give this a 0 rating I would. Just shy of 2 years this chair will not work. Wayfair is not helpful and Warranty was a joke. Chair is stuck in the lift position and will not go down. Conclusion by from a local store that will take the responsibility of helping you and beware of all Warranties they sell because in my case it was a total waste of money.

we purchased this lift chair for my 88 yr old father to use. It's very quiet, works great, he's had it for almost 2 months and it is a lifesaver. I was concerned with the other reviews, but this chair was worth the cost. total price with the warranty was a little over 600. At the retirement apartment building my parents live in, someone was trying to sell a used lift chair for over 2000! I'm very happy with this chair. The actual color of the chair is a darker maroon color, the fabric is soft, the seat is comfortable - not to soft, not to firm. the arms have a firmness to them so it's easy to grip and stand up if he doesn't put the chair all the way up.
