This is a fun game that can be played with adults or kids with multiple variations. There was no set up required or assembly . I do wish there was a container for storage or a way for it to be closed up to keep it intact. Otherwise it is of decent quality.

This shut the box dice game is fun for all ages. The instructions are clear. Use any combination of the two dice’s rolled to put down the wooden number slates and the first one to do so wins. If you only have numbers one through six left then you only roll one dice to put down the corresponding number. Game allows up to four players and the board is made beautifully with deep dark wood and a felted middle section to roll your dice into

It is a shut-the-box game, all the parts are here, and it is wooden which is why I have it the 3 stars. Unfortunately the wood is cheap. My shut-the-box game arrived with the wood broken right where one of the dowels holds one of the rows of numbers in place. I should be able to superglue it and it should be usable. I also wish this had some type of lid for storage, especially considering it broke in a box with bubblewrap.

This is such a fun game! I've played it many times now with my teen nieces and nephews and even my three year-old, and it's been a hit everytime. It's such a good way to practice basic math and not feel like a learning game for my little one. The wooden board is sturdy and I love that it comes with colorful dice that are bright and easy to find when the throws get more aggressive. My only suggestion would be to package it in a storage box. I know it's a wooden board game, but right now, I keep the dice in a separate container, and it would be easy to have everything stored together with the board. It’s such a small thing though and overall I'm really happy with the game.

This arrived quicky and is a fun fast game. It’s pretty enough that you can leave it sitting out. It also comes with an extra set of dice (5 sets of dice total). One of the numbers had a little scuff I can touch up with a furniture polish pen. I choose to set a lantern in the center and leave it sitting out in our sunroom so we can quickly play a few rounds any time.
