The craftsmanship is wonderful as well as the color of the wood. This is exactly what I was hoping it would be. I also like that the towel bar comes unattached, so you can place it on the side that works best for your kitchen.

I love the overall look of the Island. I waited some time to receive it just to be completely disappointed. First, the top corner had been chiseled to the point of having 2 slices into a raised corner piece leaving flaps of wood. Just under the top piece there was a broken piece of wood. I didn’t think the legs would be 2 halves glued together but they are, leaving one leg with 2 completely different wood appearances. Finally, one leg was splitting where the glue didn’t hold. I would not buy again at this price point.
