The dimensions in the description of the chair are not accurate. The minimum seat height is actually 20 inches (not 16.54 inches) and the maximum seat height is almost 24 inches. I needed a chair with a minimum seat height of at least 18 inches or less due to the measurements of my desk. It didn’t fit under my desk. I tried contacting the manufacturer through Wayfair (after explaining the issue to several representatives and the call being lost at least 3 times) which was completely unhelpful. The manufacturer only responded with the same measurements on the website which are incorrect. I ended up returning the chair and getting a refund, but had to make numerous calls to Wayfair in order to make this happen. One representative even told me that I would have to pay for the shipping to return it unless the manufacturer accepted the return. It was a complete waste of my time. The chair does look attractive if the seat height works for you. The material around the base is made of plastic, but it did appear to blend in with the metal legs, so if the description would have been correct, I felt it would have been ok.
