Amazing Bed!…but be AWARE! The bed is gorgeous, but the negative reviews all have similar issues and I now understand why. Ignore the product description cause you CANNOT use a regular mattress on this bed frame, the weight of a conventional mattress will definitely break the base. I included an image of the memory foam mattress I bought for context. I wouldn’t bed for everyday use as an adult, but it’s perfect for a teen or guest room. The bed cannot tolerate any consistent bouncing, jumping or nudging. It’s a great crawl in the bed and lounge or sleep bed

The bed is made well but definitely not sky blue. More like a slate gray blue so that was disappointing. It really doesn’t match my daughter’s room at all but her dad put it together while we were out of town so we are stuck with it.
