Upholstered Bed

This is a very sturdy, nicely crafted bed. Unlike our other bed, which uses slats stuck into sockets, this one uses nicely finished 1/2” or so plywood slats screwed into rails along the side boards and a central plywood spine with 4 very sturdy metal legs with adjustable pads ensure solid support. I ended up using a DeWalt corded drill as my homeowner grade cordless drill wasn’t up to the task of driving in all of those screws! I hate to imagine the work involved to disassemble this thing if it ever has to be moved. At least those big, sturdy slats won’t be moving around under the mattress. The white vinyl is a nice quality and looks exactly the way we hoped it would. Only one complaint. The instruction sheet was a bad copy and many fine details were not readable. No problem because a Google search let me download and print a PDF version but still... . We topped the bed off with a Novosbed medium mattress. We are very pleased with this purchase from Wayfair.

This is a sturdy, well made bed. I am happy with the quality.
