EXTREMELY disappointed and very angry. I was willing to deal with the fact that the dark accent shading was not accurate to the original display photo and that is was a solid champagne color but after it was assembled and used for a couple days the bed rail anchors pulled out of the footboard revealing it is made out of dense FOAM yes foam which is far from the quality and strength of solid wood as described in the description. 25 years of experience in construction maintenance and installation and I would at least expect the mounting points to be made of hardwood. I will not be boxing this back up to ship back. It can be retrieved from my house however they see fit.

Beautiful bed. The champagne color really stands out with hint of brown to add depth to the piece. I wasn’t sure if I would like the curved headboard, but it really adds a nice touch of elegance rather than a flat headboard. The mattress was purchased separately from a different vendor. To get the high effect such as in the photos it would require a 9 inch standard boxspring and the mattress itself is 14.5 inches high. A few inches lower and you would be able to see the bottom of the wood frame of the headboard, which may not be too appealing, so I would recommend a mattress more than 9 inches in height along with a boxspring. The headboard does come with a curved wood guard so to prevent a mattress from slipping beyond the headboard. That was a very nice touch. I didn’t realize until after I was cleaning underneath to get packing debris away that there is damage to one leg of the headboard as seen in the photo. - One of the support legs does not reach the floor.(similar to the issue with the chest.) the photo of the bed shows two sets of support legs per slat.-descripti

The delivery and setup team did a great job. The description says you don’t need a box spring, but I don’t think you can put the mattress directly on the bed - at the least you need slats. For my set up, I use a 4” box spring and a 12”mattress. The actual bed color is a little darker than what the official picture shows - it has a tint of gray color in my opinion.

I am LOVING my bed! The model picture doesn't do it justice to what it looks like in person! At first I was skeptical about the footboard, but it is just as beautiful as the headboard! It took a while before it came back in stock, but Wayfair definitely will keep you posted on every move (from in stock alerts, to delivery days)! The headboard slant part was missing, but Wayfair addressed with sending it right away! The delivery guys were very nice and timely! The installation guy was also nice from Angi!
