This is an extremely high-quality piece of furniture. The frame is tubular steel 1“ x 2“. What you see along the front is the platform for the spring system, which is unique and first class. It is not the frame. The frame sits back further. The leather is faultless. The cushions are firm. Being low as it is, you don’t want to sink into the couch and not be able to get up! I’ve napped an hour a day on it since I’ve gotten it. If you lean into a corner, the cushions support your arms comfortably at shoulder height. There’s no question that when this couch was first introduced in 2021 (the date of manufacture) It would’ve easily commanded a $9000 price tag on someone’s showroom floor. As it’s been warehoused for three years, there’s only the faintest odor of leather. The shipping box was a wreck, but the couch inside was perfect.

Even better than I thought. Perfect fit, adding a sleek, modern look to my space! Interesting note, I also bought the other couch, the coffee table, the rug and the table/desk from ALLMODERN/WAYFAIR!!!
