Was really disappointed with this item. During assembly we found the screw holes on the base to be almost a sixteenth of an inch out of alignment with those on the side panels. After numerous unsuccessful attempts we ended up redrilling and tapping the holes after which assembly was easy to complete. Even with all screws tightened to the max we found the unit to be quite flimsy so we ended up spot welding the shelves to the side panels.

functional but I can't recommend this to anyone. Design is very poor as far as assembly. The worst piece of self-assembled furniture I've ever had over the years. Some contortionist skills are recommended to be able to assemble.

The bookcase arrived very fast and was packed well. During the assembly not all the holes lined up so I couldn't put in all the screws but the screws I did put in were enough to make the bookcase sturdy. Also I couldn't use the back board because I had electronics with wires and cables going through the back. All in all I'm pleased with the purchase.

Bigger than I expected. But that wasn’t the problem. Cheap metal like material. The back of the shelf is literally like a piece of thin cardboard that wasn’t the exact size and didn’t line up with the wholes where the screws go. Wasn’t able to assemble correctly because of how cheaply made this item was. Way overpriced for what you get. Do not recommend at all. Not even close to worth over $100. 100% dissatisfied with this item. And I buy most of my furniture from wayfair. And I’m always almost pleased but on occasion I get let down like with this item.

Great bookcase at half the price. cannot tell the difference. easy assembly too
