Color is not white. More yellowish, like in a smoke filled home. Once assembled, it has a 6” gap from the footboard the mattress. Sturdy, but overall, not happy.

Unfortunately when you buy online, colors in photos are never true and every retailer describes color differently so you can’t rely on word either. The color is yellow. In the picture below I have it sitting next to our white dresser. Going To suck it up and paint to match. Solid construction though.
