Fit perfectly in our space and was easy to assemble.

As others have noted, the quality is poor. The dowels are too small for the holes, so they serve little purpose. The screws for attaching the back piece are not fit for use. They break when the wood is too dense, and since the pieces don't seem to be made of the same material, you may have one side where all of the screws break off, even when you drill a pilot hole (see picture). Despite the issues, 3 stars since the assembled bench still essentially looks and functions as advertised.

Id give it a solid 3.5 stars. Its sturdy Easy to put together - The material is pretty cheap. - Came with a few scratches on it. Some areas not painted thoroughly. - the wooden dowels fit very loosely in the holes, like why bother - the screws for the back paneling are weak. Every single one for the top row broke, likely because the wood they screw into is too solid, so all the screw heads broke off leaving half of the screw sticking out and a partially ripped panel. I ended up nailing it in. - the cushion is flimsy and cheap and the color is not that great, like a sickly stained yellow. But hey this thing will serve its purpose as a bench that can hold some shoes by my front door, so its good enough for now!
