This is a beautiful desk! Just as pictured and is solid wood. I did not detect a chemical smell as mentioned in another review. Came well packaged and all I had to do was install the legs.

I bought this product because I was looking for a solid wood desk with natural finish. Description reads "Rustic Natural Aged brown stain" . When unboxing there was a small nick in one of the corners and a strong chemical smell. Looked up the product on the manufacture's site and read it has multiple chemicals including formaldehyde, which was not listed on wayfair. I would not have bought had I known...
