Update: Original review is below. Updating from 1 star to 3. I did receive very quick responses from Wayfair and the manufacturer but nothing was resolved yet (its only been 24 hours). But I was not patient enough to wait and I found a solution on my own involving some drilling and some pipe thread tape and little finagling with a few of the bolts. I'm happy with the result and the desk feels very solid. The build quality is nice and I'm actually quite happy. But I left 1 star off because I had to do a lot of extra work to set up the desk (which would have otherwise been very, very simple and straightforward). The other star I deducted is because the desktop is a little more 'distressed' looking than I thought it would be. The color is perfect, looks like the photos, but overall, it looks a little more industrial than I was intending. But I think I will make it work.
Waiting to find out what kind of resolution I get from Wayfair and/or the manufacturer. The desk itself seems like it would be nice, very solid construction. There are only 3 pieces to put together - 2 legs and the desktop. For one of the legs, 2 of the pre-drilled holes are damaged and I can't bolt in the legs. Not sure how stable the desk will be in the long run if I only secure the legs using 1/3rd of the recommended bolts. Not sure what Wayfair will do for me, this is my first time trying to resolve an issue. I have little desire to box the item back up (it weighs a ton) and return it, but for the money I'm very disappointed.
