I am a woman and put this together myself sitting on the floor the whole assembly. It is packaged very well and I had a time getting it out of the box. The predrilled holes were a little hard to find but following the instructions line by line showed them after using my cell phone flashlight. The assembly was not difficult. The most challenging part was putting the back cover on as it did not have predrilled holes. After trying to drill the screws with no predrilled holes, I settled on McGyvering the back panel and it is just as good and Im satisfied. The cabinet is sturdy. Well made and looks good and compliments other items I have in my home. I bought this cabinet for bedside books and stow away for things I always put on dresser to clear clutter. I am pleased with my purchase.

My husband put the vest together. There were 10 missing screw—my husband went to the hardware store to get some, wood was split, my husband fixed it, and the 2 knobs on each door are not even. are not even. Since my husband decided to fix the problem We decided just to keep the cabinet. I am just writing to tell you we were very disappointed in the condition the cabinet was in when we got it-(the box itself was in good shape, so it wasn’t from the shipping.)

Overall good quality, dense hardwood and very nice finish. Instructions are pretty good but could offer more tips. The biggest assembly challenge was hanging the door hinges properly. My set ended up being slightly offset from each other. Screwing in the hinges in exactly the right spot is challenging. Nevertheless the end result in our home was very well liked.

Overall, I'm pleased with this item, however I believe the quality control for fabricating the the pieces is not what it should be. Predrilling of pieces is not accurate and in once case caused the vertical divider to split (see pic). Ironically, this was the first piece to be assembled. Not a good omen when just starting out. Fortunately, it's location and its low potential for structural concerns was minimal, otherwise I would have either requested replacement pieces or a full refund. The predrilled holes (see pic) for the door hinges were also not correct (misaligned). It's understandable that there are no predrilled holes for installing the back panels, however the instructions should recommend pre-drilling holes once the alignment is complete to help prevent any possible further splits. One last small thing, the bottom of the legs is raw/rough wood finish. It would be nice if it included end caps or protective pads. Had to install my own to protect flooring.

This is a great cabinet, nice solid piece. Husband said it was easy to put together
