They are perfect for the time being. They do look cheap, but in a fully furnished room can pass as cute.

I am happy with the quality of construction and sturdiness of this item - definitely can sit on it or put a plate/tray on it without collapse. Coloring a little different than I expected but a true “cinnamon” like in your spice cabinet. It’s a nubuck leather more like hiking boots rather than the smooth leather of most handbags etc. which I like but didn’t get from the description the first read through
