Not as pictured. The metal appears in the photo as brushed steel on the column but it is high polish chrome throughout. The seats have a covering but they are not cushioned. Feels like sitting directly on a wood surface. There were no assembly instructions provided and when contacting Wayfair, was told none are available. I ordered 3 stools and received hardware for just one. Wayfair would not send the missing hardware priority instead making me wait 10 days longer with boxes and parts cluttering my home. Since Wayfair would not tell us the screw specs, our only options are to disassemble the one stool and bring the screws to the hardware store to purchase ourselves or wait the additional 10 days d hope Wayfair follows through and sends the missing parts. I suppose you get what you pay for.
