This is my third set of these stands. I have a recording studio with a 7.1 surround set up. I didn’t want to drill holes in the walls, nor did I want to spend too much money. These stands are perfect. You can widen the base to make them as sturdy as you want, or narrow them to fit in a tight space, while still maintaining stability. I’ve got a 40 pound speaker on there right now, but if you widen the base and utilize the locking pins, it’ll handle even more weight.They’re well built, solid and strong and do what they need to do!
