I bought this because I needed a taller chair for my desk. The pneumatic lift on my old chair wore out and the angle was aggravating my shoulder issues. The chair arrived quickly and was quick and easy to assemble. I wish the lowest setting was an inch shorter. All in all, it is nice to be able to have a nice range to raise and lower the chair. I can see how this would be easily tall enough for a craft table if you had to move from say a sewing machine to a taller craft table. I've only had it a couple of weeks but I'm in my office for many hours each day. It is comfortable and sturdy but doesn't occupy a lot of space like the bigger office chairs. I love that Wayfair has dimensions on all the products. That helped me eliminate some of the selections. By the way, this chair is made in America and I'm thrilled to be able to support an American furniture maker. The only thing that wasn't clear on the description was what the customization was. I believe it is a round foot rest that you would definitely want if you bought it to use at the taller height.

This chair met my requirement for height adjustment and sturdiness. The upholstery looks like it will last a very long time and the adjustments work well. Very happy!
