Very sturdy bed. I used the 6 inch box springs because the bed was too high otherwise.

You definitely need to get a piece of plywood to hold the mattress in place, otherwise the little sticks provided will simply break. Looks great when fully assembled and is the perfect look for my son's room. Can't say that the price was that great.

Overall an attractive bed with quality wood. But the supports do not appear stable
