The doors were misaligned and didn’t look good at all

Lovely design. Fairly good instructions (Note: The picture in Step One is given from the BACK of the unit, not the front, which really threw me off.). Also, be aware that assembly requires some hours of careful work. Alert: You must "square" the cabinet as you're putting it together so that when you hang the doors, they have even space around them. The squaring of the cabinet is achieved thru the back panels, which must be put in carefully and screwed down. That must be done before hanging the doors. Doors were the most challenging as we had to adjust and adjust to get them even. The wood is "manufactured," the finish is dull and the surface is a bit rough to the touch. I used a good-quality wood "feed & polish" on all the sides that show before putting it together, which gave it a luster it lacked. And, I added a custom-cut glass top to protect it from pet scratches. In short, it is solid and a nice design, but it will look good only to the extent you put some thought and elbow grease into putting it together.

Top had a rough section on one side but not enough to replace after putting together. Took some time to get the door handles level. Overall we are pleased with the look and storage.

I ordered two of these for a client and paid for assembly by Wayfair Home Services. The client is happy with the sideboards, but is disappointed in the assembly work on the doors. The two doors that meet each other had a noticeable gap, and the person from Wayfair Home Services did not take the time to look at the instructions that have step by step directions on how to adjust the doors, My client had to read the instructions herself and adjust the doors. Very disappointed in the customer service of Wayfair Home Services and my client should not of had to finish the job that she paid for to have done.
