Let’s begin with the bad; - Wooden dowels are too loose fitting and the first step is cumbersome because the pieces don’t want to stay in place in order to complete as easily the next step. - The directions lack detail. (Which side are to be on the front/back of piece was a unknown). We found ourselves constantly reviewing future steps so that we could complete the step we were on correctly. - There are a few gaps where the pieces are to fit snug for a seamless appearance. One gap is at the right corner where the back meets the bench portion. And another is at the top left where the back meets the top shelf. - The holes for the hooks were not evenly centered causing one hook to be slightly crooked, fortunately it is not terribly noticeable. - Some of the pre-drilled holes were not deep enough &/or could have been counter sunk. (Care must be given when tightening the included screws so the piece doesn’t incur splitting). The good; - Impeccable packing. We’ve ordered enough pieces online to consider that the care in packaging of this piece was terrific. The box had a couple of crunched corners and a slash in the cardboard when it was delivered but because of the foam, the pieces were decently protected. Kudos to that. - There are pieces & parts are clearly labeled by letter for identification and there were no missing or damaged parts! - Though it is a fiber board, it is of better quality & it has a nicer finish than of what can be found in the market. - There cabinet doors fit nicely & are soft close. - There back has the same finish as the front in case it would need to be showing. And me just being picky; - I’d have preferred a little better design to accommodate the standard size storage baskets be they rattan, fabric weave, metal, etc, that are found in today’s market. I prefer not to openly see the hats & scarves I plan to use this space for. The size of the two top open shelves is less deep than tall (approx 18” Wide x 9” Depth & 12” High so finding a storage container is challenging unless having something custom designed or using a container only a 5” tall which are easier to find. All in all, we’d give this a 3.5 rating. It is nice enough looking, and fits our needs overall. The storage/intent of the piece offers well-designed utilization compared to other hall/entrance furniture of its kind in our opinion. Assembly was just under 3 hrs.

Looks exactly like the picture! Perfect height and even tall enough that even hanging my longer coats (knee length) they’re not touching the bottom!

I love this unit. It was just as pictured. It was perfect for the space.

TThis came with the door cracked, but Wayfair customer service has a replacement door coming my way already. This product is sturdy, and I love how tall it is with a greater space for longer coats to hang. The first couple of steps were a bit frustrating , but once two side pieces went on, it held together better and made the rest of the steps easier.
