Very sturdy with a nice painted finish. With that said, there are two bars on the middle rack that were left black and unpainted. You can't see them when looking at the bookcase from a standing position, but those pieces should have been painted.

Very cheap product for the price - finish very disappointing - assembly instructions not good - am having someone come to finish assembly - would not recommend the product to anyone - just relieved I purchased it for myself and not for a client

It exceeded expectations. It is a solid wood construction and has mass. All the pieces fit together with precision. Assembly was straightforward. It looks good and is functional, just as I wanted. And it was delivered to me in just a few days (not 6 weeks like bookcases offered at other sites).

There are pros and cons re: this Adela, Olive Ash Burl bookcase. The pros are that the bookcase looks exactly as it is pictured on your website. The directions were clear-cut and easy to follow. The packaging of the bookcase was excellent. The cons are that the back panels are too big for this bookcase. It also has twenty-eighty screws which are tiny but no corresponding holes on the bookcase to make the screwing easier for an old woman, such as myself. I am disappointed that Quality Control did not catch the differences in size of the back panels with the back of the bookcase. If everything had been done accurately I would have given it five stars.. Customers deserve to get what they pay for.

We wanted a small bookshelf to fit in a specific place in our living room. This one is very attractive, and was fun to assemble. Perfect for our needs!

It’s a beautiful solid wood bookcase, however the shelves should be taller to fit photo albums or average book like maginizes on them. As you can see everything has to lay down.
