Troutville Solid Wood Bed

Very nice bed and frame - pictures are deceptive because you don’t see the box spring. One picture shows an elevated view like there is an option to raise the bed

The bed may be solid wood but the wood itself is not very solid. They use short pieces of wood connected by poorly made finger joints. After one year the headboard failed (where it connects to side rail) and today, three years after purchase, the side rail failed. Nice looking but I would not buy this bed.

Do not buy - We had this bed for 1.5 years. The sideboard cracked and split. Teen girl slept on this bed and should have been able to withstand pressure . I shouldn’t have to purchase a protection order for something that is supposed to be quality and durable

Wish the wood were a little thicker, but it definitely looks nice and is perfect for our beach place!

Loved the bed for my sons room however was a little upset by the chips in the headboard.
