Beautiful headboard by uncomfortably heavy. Difficult to find a connector for the adjustable base frame.

Love this headboard! It is beautifully finished, substantial. Exactly what I was looking for!

This headboard is perfect for narrower spaces that can't accomodate the complete bed with footboard and side rails. It is tricky to mount any tall headboard unless it sits right next to your wall: if you have a baseboard or shoe molding, even if the gap is only an inch, the top of the headboard can slap the wall when you get in and out of bed. Even with a headboard this heavy. Also, no hardware was included to mount the headboard to the mattress frame. This headboard is the same exact item as you'd get if you ordered the complete bed. There are dedicated holes thankfully, for that mattress frame, but in only 1 location, which leaves you about 7" for under the bed storage.The correct boxspring (or foundation) to buy is the taller one they sell (I think its 8" high). The photo I included shows the gap between the mattress set and where the slats start on the headboard- we have a 3" gap and my bottom pillow DOES work its way into that crack eventually, but my top mattress is a regular mattress, not pillowtop, so its only 11" high. People with pillowtop sets would not have a gap. The item looks slightly overpainted and not so distressed as I would have liked. I would call it a neutral black. I love the design of the piece and it is impressive in a room with a tall ceiling. Deducted a star for a bad local delivery company that couldn't use a phone to notify me of delivery intent, and the drivers who called only when they arrived at the house. Wayfair refunded the extra delivery charge I paid for white glove delivery of room to my choice.

This beautiful headboard exceeded my expectations and it makes all the difference in our guest room! The weight and beauty of this piece creates an amazing presence! My son came home from the west coast for a visit 2 days after it was delivered and set in place. He told me it absolutely makes the room and he loves it too! It contrasts beautifully with our silver glam dresser and nightstand. Note: The headboard doesn’t come with bolts to secure it to a metal bed frame, so you will have to do that yourselves, unless you buy the matching bed too. Then I believe the headboard would come with the necessary hardware to securely attach it to the bed frame. I would recommend this gorgeous piece to anyone!
