I thought it was solid wood as described in the description, but its only manufactured. I only opened the box to see it and did not touch anything inside. I got a refund, but still have to pay 70$ for the return even though the description information was misleading. Update: they offered me 20% discount to keep it which was around 90$. So I decided to keep the frame and buy real wood planks to replace the tablets with that money. Everybody wins, just a bit more work for me.

I love this bookshelf! It fit my decor wonderfully. I still have plenty of space for additional books and/or knickknacks.

This was so easy to assemble. The 4 metal frames were already fully assembled out of the box. My husband only had to screw in the boards. He used his own tools instead. This will be perfect for our needs.
