All of the shelves are damaged. I will not be returning this item because I do not want pay the shipping cost. The damage can be hidden by turning the shelf upside down. However I feel I should receive at least a discount

Super easy to assemble and for perfectly in our space. It was also easy to affix to the wall

Aesthetically we like it, but for some unknown reason the mounting screws provided require the small specific hex wrench provided in the assembly kit, rather than a Phillips head, which makes it very difficult to completely secure the screws into the anchors provided, so much so that one of the mounting screws is only about 3/4 of the way into the wall. Also, since the provided screws easily strip, even when using the tool provided in the kit, it’s going to be almost impossible to remove the ladder when we need to without damaging the wall. It looks good, so I’m giving it 3 stars, but definitely use your own mounting screws and anchors and not the ones provided.

Clean aesthetic with surprisingly heavy pressed-like boards that are finished in a of varied wood tone lacquer (bits of black that coordinate with the frame). The assembly was easy- four stars given because I wish the screws heads (hexagonal) were made of a sturdier metal. Take care not to strip them out. Once assembled the piece is very sturdy.
