We loved the more contemporary looks of the metal base on this table & how sturdy the whole table is. No wobbles at all. Star Furniture had this exact same table priced at $1,699 plus tax. SO glad to have found it on Wayfair for a considerable savings! Been looking for a new breakfast table off & on for the last year, & this one came the closest to checking all the boxes for features we desired. The extendable leaf that secretly tucks away underneath the table top is a nice bonus - very smooth to operate.
