Assembly was easy enough though I had to hacksaw through one of the bolts holding pieces together which put my chair at risk for unnecessary nicks and marks. Luckily I was careful enough to get it cut without any harm. There were some marks that did not look natural to the wood. Chairs are comfortable and sturdy. The photos show the marks in two of my four chairs.

These stools are beautiful and comfortable, as long as you’re wearing shoes lol. The bar to rest your foot on my seem a little sharp without them. Like others have mentioned, the packaging leaves much to be desired, but I got lucky and mine were not damaged, despite the damage to the boxes upon arrival. They match my decor perfectly. I was afraid to purchase something I couldn’t sit in, but I’m glad I took a chance.
