Seems sturdy. Classic and cute. Top is MDF, but this was expected. We ended up super-gluing furniture pads to the bottom to protect our wood floor. Overall, great product for the price.

I'm using it outside as a side table to a patio sectional. Love the compact size and the space underneath for a basket or a plant.
