Alger Upholstered L-Shaped Sectional Reversible

After leaving an emotionally abusive living situation and moving into my own apartment.. I searched for over 6 months, looking at all the details including reviews and decided to get a Wayfair Credit Card to purchase this couch in Bulldozer Eggplant (which was not even displayed). I wanted for weeks with the delivery date changing at least 4-5 times. I originally bought this piece in the beginning of October hoping I would have it for Halloween… it didn’t ship out until well into November. Finally, the night before it is supposed to be delivered, I get an email later in the day saying the time was DAMAGED and would be sent back. The next morning I received a call from the delivery people at 630 asking if I was ready for it to be delivered. I had them stay in my parking lot while I tried to contact a manger — OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF LATER they offer me a 10 discount for the ripped under mesh. I was LIVID but needed something for thanksgiving and Christmas. I told them to bring it up —with the manager on the phone and went upstairs to open the door. When I reached the door, they drove by and left. So, I asked for a new item to be delivered and hoped it would be here by the holidays. I was wrong. More delays on the dates (another 2-3 changes) and more hours of calls later and finally a manager called the manufacturer to see WHAT was going on. Piedmont Manufacturing finally assured the Wayfair team that my couch would be leaving their facility today but would likely not arrive before Christmas. And finally. 2 days after it was delivered with NO additional problems. I was as SHOCKED after the chaos. The couch it’s self- is great! I love the color and the pillows and I measured all correctly. The chaise lounge is a little stiff but everything else is nice and comfy. If you don’t mind the waiting and don’t need it by a certain time… go for it but Piedmont Manufacturing will TAKE THEIR TIME on getting it to you.

Great, I love it. The color is perfect with my decor and it's so comfortable. The pillows are good size and soft. Would buy again.

I hate this couch the cushions have fallen in and you can’t turn them over the lounge chair does not fit there is a over hang and it’s too stiff submit

I was hesitant about ordering such a large and important item online, but Wayfair was the only place I could find a smaller sectional with the color, fabric, and design I wanted. I needn’t have worried - Wayfair delivered yet again, in more way than one! First, the delivery process was smooth and quick - it was a great experience from start to finish. The sofa was supposed to ship in 12-14 weeks, but it came within 2-3 weeks. I received great email communication about setting up a time for delivery and safety procedures for COVID-19. The delivery men called when they were 30 minutes out and quickly brought the sofa in my front room. They were masked the whole time and even went above and beyond to help me get it through my small doorway. The sofa wasn’t in a box, just well-wrapped, so there was hardly anything to recycle or trash. It was super easy to put the legs on (if the pre-drilled holes are covered, just cut the fabric back a little), and it was clear how to put the cushions on. It took about 10-15 minutes to set it all up. Now for the sofa itself. It’s a perfect size for our smallish living room. My husband can lay on the main cushions while I lay out on the side lounge. It’s the perfect black color and velvet texture, and our three little dogs love it. The cushions were a little firm at first, but they are mushy and cozy a week later. My parents love it as well, and they say it’s a perfect addition to our space. So, overall, very high remarks for this sofa!

Comfortable and beautiful. It is much darker than the color pictured but it still worked for me!
