⭐ 05 — Disappointing Quality, Poor Fit Not Worth the Price
I finally got around to assembling this dresser after reaching the guest-bedroom phase of furnishing my new home, and unfortunately, it has been a huge disappointment. As the photos clearly show, the drawers are severely uneven and asymmetrical, with inconsistent gaps throughout the entire dresser. It looks nothing like the clean, properly aligned product shown in the listing photos.
Beyond the alignment issues, the overall quality is extremely underwhelming. The inexpensive compositepoly-wood construction makes the price very difficult to justify. For what this costs, I genuinely wish I had spent a little more and purchased a properly constructed piece from a traditional furniture retailer.
What made the experience even more frustrating was assembling the entire dresser only to discover how poorly everything fit together. After furnishing a new house and finally getting to my guest bedroom, the last thing I expected was to spend this much time assembling a piece of furniture that looks defective once completed. I contacted Wayfair hoping they might at least offer a reasonable discount given the condition and appearance, but that didn’t happen. They recommended leaving a bad review so, sellers you unfortunately need to take the brunt of this.
I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but prospective buyers deserve to know what they may actually receive. Look closely at my photos and compare the drawer alignment to the listing photos.
My recommendation DON’T BUY IT. Spend the extra money and get something better constructed. You’ll likely save yourself the frustration—and end up with furniture that actually looks like what you paid for.
